The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes and O’Fallon Hoots, in partnership with i3 Broadband, are excited to announce the conception of the Community Cup beginning in the 2024 Prospect League Season.
Beginning this season, the in-season series winner between the O’Fallon Hoots and Springfield Lucky Horseshoes will receive the Community Cup, a custom-made trophy to commemorate the newly formed rivalry, that will be developed, branded and presented by i3 Broadband.
In the upcoming campaign, the two teams face each other a total of eight times throughout the season with the series finale being hosted in O’Fallon on July 25th.
i3 Broadband is home of the fastest and most reliable fiber internet, Wi-Fi, streaming and more, and has a large presence in the Central Illinois and greater St. Louis Metro areas, providing service to more than tens of thousands of customers.

O’Fallon Hoots General Manager David Schmoll also appreciates the opportunity to work with both the ‘Shoes and i3 Broadband.

The first Community Cup matchup will take place on Tuesday, June 4th in Springfield with matchups on June 26th, July 5th, and July 14th as the other games in the series to be hosted by the ‘Shoes. The Lucky Horseshoes will travel to O’Fallon on June 12th, July 18th , and July 25th.
