The Federal Communication Commission (FCC) has officially announced that April 2024 will be the last fully funded month for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP).

What is the Affordable Connectivity Program?
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a federal program that will provide qualified households with a $30 credit toward their internet service.
What if I qualified for the ACP but didn't sign up with an internet company before February 7, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET?
Then you can not enroll in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) to receive the benefit.
How do I know if I qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program?
Eligible households qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program if the household income is at the below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, or if a member of the household meets at least one of the criteria below:
- Participates in one of these assistance programs:
- SNAP
- Medicaid
- Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program, including at U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Community Eligibility Provision schools
- Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
- Veterans Pension or Survivor Benefits
- Lifeline
- Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year.
- Participates in one of these assistance programs and lives on Qualifying Tribal Lands:
- Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
- Tribal TANF
- Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations
- Tribal Head Start (income-based)
Can I order other i3 Broadband services if I have the Affordable Connectivity discount?
Yes, you can purchase other services such as home phone through us. The ACP discount will only be applied to your home internet service, so you will be responsible for pay for the remaining cost.
If I’m already qualified for ACP and using it towards internet services with another provider, can I sign up for service with i3 and transfer my discount?
Yes, if you’re already qualified for ACP and have internet through another company, you can sign up for internet service with i3 and transfer your $30 discount.
Can I apply for ACP benefit if another person in my household is already receiving one?
No, each household can only receive one monthly ACP benefit.
When will the Affordable Connectivity Program end?
As of today, the ACP program is expected to run out of funds in April 2024.
If I’m a current i3 Broadband internet customer, can I still apply for the discount?
Yes, current i3 Broadband customers who have already applied and have been approved through the National Verifier can call us at 877-976-0711 to apply for this program and have the benefit applied to their account at any time during the duration of this program.
Why are no ACP enrollments being accepted after February 7, 2024, at 11:59 pm ET?
The ACP is projected to run out of funds in April 2024 (this date is an estimate and may change). As a result, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has begun taking steps to wind down the ACP.
What happens when the ACP program runs out of funds?
After the ACP funds run out (projected in April 2024), households participating in the ACP will no longer receive the ACP discounts. Check our latest customer communications.
